Dr. Suzan Wasik is a licensed professional counselor, executive coach and university professor with 20 years of experience working in academic, clinical, and corporate settings. Her practice and expertise are in the areas of personal and professional career development, facilitation, and change management. She has worked with a wide variety of clients ranging from
C-Suite executives, senior managers, sales teams, research organizations, and world-class educational institutions.
As an international speaker and trainer, Dr. Wasik specializes in translating current research in psychology and human development into practical applications for leaders to help improve communication, enhance leadership, engage teams, retain talent, and increase top line revenue. She facilitates and develops VP Sales and Executive Roundtables for multi-industry high-level senior leaders from companies such as Cisco, Red Hat, Citrix, and Eaton to name a few.
She is an alumnus of the inaugural class of Carnegie Mellon’s Negotiation and Leadership Academy for Women and speaks nationally on the topics of leadership and development. As an Assistant Professor of Counseling at North Carolina Central University, Dr. Wasik was part of the first accredited on-line career counseling master’s program in the United States. In her executive coaching practice, she works with leaders and executives in defining and creating their “What’s Next." She serves as an advisor and consultant to various start-up organizations and executive teams regarding learning and professional development, team engagement, and effective recruitment.
Dr. Wasik is well versed in the use of personality assessments, research-based interventions, training, online course development, facilitation, and executive and agile coaching. Her research and practice interests are around combining principles of positive psychology, EQ, mindfulness, and the development of agile leadership in the workplace.
